The UCM-Fix is an emergency braking system that prevents both uncontrolled upward movements and uncontrolled car movement when the car doors are open
= can be used for UCM SAfü.
The system makes use of a spring-loaded accumulator operated by a quiescent current.
The brake is therefore forcibly actuated in the de-energized state.
The UCM-Fix is delivered completely ready for installation with the following parts:
- Brake magnets with brake pads.
- Mounting bracket (designed and manufactured specifically for the system).
- Optional: Terminal box with overexcitation to control the magnets.
The following parts are only required for early opening doors and the readjustment function:
- Magnetic tapes with fastening set.
- Control unit EN81 A3 with switching power supply 24V.
Further available options if required:
- Speed limiter double-acting with EN81-20 / 50 certificate.
- Complete mechanical assembly on site.
Advantages of UCM-Fix compared to other systems:
- Easy to assemble.
- The mounting adapter is calculated and designed specifically for the system using FEM simulation, and the corresponding drawing is made available prior to delivery. So no on-site adjustments are necessary!

- Almost maintenance free.

- UCM-Fix: 600 - 5500 Nm braking force corresponds to 1: 1 systems up to Q approx. 630kg - 3500kg
